The EDX-3600B is a versatile analyzer that recently had an upgrade in detection systems.  Going from an already great detector, it now comes standard with the latest in detectors - the Ultra-High Resolution Detector (UHRD).  This upgrade takes the unit past systems operating with the popular Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and allows for even greater seperation of spectrum peaks - resulting in a higher degree of accuracy for the end-user.

This Skyray XRF Instrument is popular with precious metal refiners because it is as close to fire assay results as a nondestructive testing equipment can provide.  It also has potential for quality control in the cement industry, laboratory analysis for mining purposes and a variety of other applications.  The upgraded detection system seperates it from the pack of higher-end XRF Analyzers and we believe make it the best value on the market.
